HOW TO USE | Maybe Baby™, mini-microscope for determining fertile and infertile days

IMPORTANT!

For accurate results it is very important to use Maybe Baby™ according to the instructions for use! You will quickly and easily get used to proper use of Maybe Baby™ . If you have brushed your teeth, consumed food or beverages, smoked a cigarette 3 hours prior to testing, results may be inaccurate! The best time for testing is in the morning, before brushing your teeth. Additionally, the analysis results may be affected by acute infection or inflammation of the oral cavity, the food residues between the teeth, or use of certain medications. Saliva sample should be evenly spread on the sample plate. Do not apply too much of saliva, and do not apply too much pressure.

1. Remove the cover (protective cap) [1]

2. Pull out the viewfinder [2] from the microscope housing [3]

3. Clean softly the glass surface [2.2] of the viewfinder (sample plate) with a clean cloth

4. With the tip of your finger apply the saliva sample on the sample plate (without bubbles) and place the viewfinder on the smooth surface to air dry for 10-15 minutes

5. Put back the viewfinder into the microscope housing

6. Bring the microscope to your eye. With the finger of one hand turn the light on using the light switch [4.1], and sharpen the image with the other hand by turning the rotating part of the viewfinder (eyepiece) [2.1]

Maybe Baby™ will show you one of the three images:

A: DOTTED STRUCTURE – INFERTILE DAYS

From the onset of menstruation up to 3-4 days prior to ovulation, as well as 2-3 days after ovulation up to the onset of the following menstruation, the dried saliva sample produces DOTTED STRUCTURE without any particular shape. This is the period of INFERTILE DAYS during which a woman cannot become pregnant.

B: MIXED STRUCTURE – FERTILE DAYS

3-4 days prior to ovulation in dried saliva sample fern pattern starts to appear – forming MIXED STRUCTURE. This structure is seen again 2-3 after the ovulation. This complete period, including the day of ovulation, is the period of FERTILE DAYS in which conceiving is possible.

C: FERN STRUCTURE – FERTILE DAYS

From the appearance of mixed structure up to ovulation day, the density of fern increases. On the day of ovulation, FERN STRUCTURE is the densest. This period, including a few days before and after ovulation day, are FERTILE DAYS when conceiving is possible.

Validity of the interpreted results is 24 hours

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Remove the cover. Turn the light housing [4] to the left and pull it out of the microscope housing. Pull out and replace the two batteries SR44 [4.2], with positive pole upwards. Put back the light housing inside microscope housing and turn it to the right.
